     - Birmingham, United KingdomInternship
Six days spent with this contemporary craft charity. Tasked with researching potential outlets and alternative production methods for one of their souvenir ranges, designed by Shelanu womens craft collective, a group of migrant and refugee women who come together to use their crafting skills. In September another five days were spent volunteering at the in:site festival, set up for graduates to display their crafting skills and get the public involved, in some cases to reveal what they like about Birmingham through crafting. Both successful experiences within the environment of arts and crafts workers.
