About me
I’m a former journalist and online editor at The Telegraph, and have spent the last two years working in digital content management and creation; guiding content plans, liaising with multiple stakeholders, creating and editing content to tight deadlines, and working across a range of content management systems. I am now looking for new challenges both in freelance copywriting and editing.

London Roasts.I launched London Roasts in 2019 and I'm currently working on developing it further. About: London Roasts is brought to you by a team of roast dinner aficionados, all passionate about eating roast dinners, sharing roast dinners and, to a lesser extent, cooking roast dinners. Finding a good roast dinner in London is a challenge, and the multitude of pubs just adds to the pressure of choosing somewhere to eat on a Sunday. When you’re committing the best part of £17-25 for a meal – arguably more

I worked alongside our commissioned agency to deliver a programme of quick wins for the website ahead of the Group’s major digital transformation programme. We worked in an agile way to make sure the website content was focused on customer experience and engagement. Our cross-team approach included SEO, UX, analytics and content. We measured our results as we progressed, via customer behaviour in Google Analytics and I used our research to form the start of a longer-term content strategy for the Group.

I edited Nesta's website, leading on content strategy for research teams and developing interesting ways of showcasing the work of the charity. I liaised with teams across the foundation, including events, press, social media and marketing, in order to make sure that our overall communications strategy was cohesive. I guided teams through the creation of video content and website redevelopment, and commissioned cinematographers and illustrators to meet website requirements. I also advised teams on their editorial plans, regularly checking in with Google Analytics and Google Trends to make sure our content was optimised for search. I trained our bloggers in editorial best practice and edited website content, from blogs to features and longer papers. I edited the weekly newsletter in Mailchimp and I managed a junior member of staff to make sure she was developing in her role.
