In this marketing consultancy company I drive the marketing communications through email broadcasting, social media and collateral. I write content including case studies, white papers, blogs, award entries as well as co-written articles for external sites. Further collateral includes webinar, video and website development and organisation. Central to my role is controlling the administrative processes of the business including Salesforce data management, reporting and sales correspondence via email and the telephone with prospects and clients. I am also involved in ad hoc projects alongside the data strategists to help plan how our clients can optimise communications to their customers.
As an Academic Administrator my role was to organise diaries, make appointments, send letters and organise meeting documents. I was also admin for the department web page which included uploading files, fixing broken links, refreshing copy and other general maintenance. Research was also central to my role and was used to develop and improve course quality. I also helped redesign the current University complaints and appeal system.
My role as an intern involved article research, draft editing articles before they went live online, writing abstracts for upcoming exhibitions and transcribing interviews. Administration via email and over the phone to external partners and venues was also central to the role.
I achieved a 1st class BA (hons) in Cultural Studies. My intellectual focus was given to the theory of semiotics, postmodernism and psychoanalysis. I also pursed my passion for art and design by taking History of Art modules in contemporary art theory, Buddhist art, and 20th century art theory.
