Jovana Mladenovic (1991), from Nis, is a photography graduate from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Serbia and in 2017 she graduated from the University of Arts, London and received a Master's degree in Fashion Photography. Her academic background from UAL provides her with an excellent knowledge of both art and fashion. She is an award winning photographer with a number of international publications. Recently she won a gold star award at the ND photography competition in the Portrait category and has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions across Serbia and Europe. Jovana's work now explores brutalist architecture combined with contemporary dance movements. Her project “Monumental Fear ” is where she wanted to bring to life a part of history that seems forgotten, especially amongst the younger generation of people in Ex Yugoslavia, and along the way, inform people of such a turbulent time in her countries history. In-house Photographer & Photo editor - London, UK (Jan 2018 - March 2019) Organised and produced fashion and advertorial photoshoots. Created and edited imagery to maintain the brand aesthetic and identity. Facilitated collaborations with agencies and magazines. Created e-commerce and product photography on a regular basis, including photographing archive pieces. Conceptualised the advertorial “Rebellious Boy” for online magazine FGUK, including photography, photo editing, model casting and location scouting. Collaborated with the stylist Ivan Bontchev on the campaign "Parallel Realities" (available upon request).

Underated London Co Campaign & Editorial Photographer - London, UK (Nov 2015 - Sept 2016) Co-created campaigns and advertorials with the creative director of the company. Produced and edited lookbooks for three collections over the span of the employment. Worked with the creative team to deliver high quality visuals for print catalogues and digital platforms. Across many projects I was responsible for model search and casting, moodboarding, location scouting. Implemented quality and lightning improvements across all categories (lookbook, editorial, street style) and designed a unified structure. Activities and Societies: Group exhibition at Paris School of Arts, Two weeks to New York and lectures at School of Visual Arts MA Fashion Photography relates directly to its philosophy and structure and remains based essentially on practice, as opposed to theory. The course explores the rhetoric of fashion photographic production and contextualises theory and practice within fine art, popular culture and mass media.
-Recipient of the "Young and creative Chevrolet " 3rd place Academic Award. -Participated in IV World Biennial with a featured photo in the group exhibition. The course is to help students to master the control of the creation of photography as a form of artistic expression. Besides the basics of graphic design, the courses has: Creative and studio photography, Typography, Lettering, Poster, Books Graphics, Development of the photographic medium courses are added to the list of courses.
ND is annual prestigious photography awards. Categories are in two sections: Professional and Non-Professional. Winners of each subcategory will be awarded with: Gold Star, Silver Star and Bronze Star awards. The project 'Fear of Silence' won Gold star Award in Portrait – Non-Professional category.
