Marcia Elizabeth is a multi-medium artist based in Johannesburg. Born in 1993, she spent her childhood in the Freestate with her family, this geo-specificity has greatly impacted her artistic practice as an autoethnographer. Her work, which dissects Afrikaaner culture and in particular the figure of the Afrikaaner matriarch, expresses itself as photographs, collages, audio pieces and writing. Marcia is the former Editor of Bubblegum Club and a contributing author. She has also contributed to publications such as ArtThrob and OATH
