About me
I am a 21 year old Astrophysics student and Founder of BlackOnBlack Publishing an inclusive online publisher of art and literature. My creative and academic pursuits make me a unique and versatile individual with the ability to combine analytical and creative skills. I am a driven individual who has striven to involve myself in the creative industry outside my studies from pitching and writing various articles, organising and marketing book launches and launch events and building brand awareness through social media.

As a young person of colour, I found it necessary to take action against the dismal lack of representation of BAME people within the arts - especially of younger artists and writers. Who are we? An inclusive online publisher of art, photography and literature prioritising young people from BAME communities. The aim? To create a community of people (not just POC), where BAME art, literature and creative projects can be celebrated without the expectation of a certain topic, theme or style of artistry but instead with a focus on high quality, beautiful art and writing. Our mission To inspire and affect change and positivity in the arts through our publications, immersive events workshops and podcasts with BlackOnBlack contributors and BAME creatives. I run the company on my own alongside my studies and have had amazingly successful Launch parties with two collections of work out now as well as outreach, immersive events such as a Sip + Sketch Life Drawing class. Visit the website to see out work!
