o Reception and Customer Service in a Theatre setting, first point of contact for both staff and public o Box-office duties using Spektrix, knowledge and promotion of programme o Responsible for Opening and Closing the Building, safety, security and care of the Venue and customers. o Ensuring the building is operating effectively and safely, acting as Emergency Controller in the event of an emergency and co-ordinate the evacuation of the building safely. o Overseeing Bar staff, Ushers and Volunteers and responsible for cash-ups of bar & box office
Responsibilities include: o First point of contact for hire and event enquiries. Responding as appropriate. o Support the delivery of events with hirers, particularly banqueting and fundraising events. o Manage and schedule artsdepot’s third party courses and classes o Liaise with Visitor Services and Technical teams to ensure event information is passed on and events are executed in line with clients’ expectations. o Maintain high levels of customer service and customer satisfaction aiming to retain valuable clients. o Complete events administration tasks including using Artifax, keeping accurate records of all events. o Negotiating and issuing hires contracts o To up-sell catering and other services ensuring maximum net value from customer relationships o Assist the Hires & Events Manager in meeting budgets and targets, ensuring effective use of resources. o Liaise across teams to ensure scheduling needs are met and a balance is achieved between the business and artistic targets of the organisation.
