At RDSC, the design team operates as an in-house creative studio, collaborating with every department. As the design lead, I worked on projects from concept to completion, guiding and supporting our team of designers. I also worked closely with stakeholders, contributing to the brand's evolution and shaping it into what it is today.
Key responsibilities:
- From book covers of beloved stories to bespoke visual interpretations of characters and worlds, I have created and art directed for all brand's touch points.
- 360 strategic design thinking, covering consumer products, partnerships, theatre and publishing.
- Directed campaigns and guidelines that brought the positive message of Dahl's stories to a wide global audience.
- Line managed graphic designer and illustrator.

The role of the senior designer at RDSC focuses on creating a variety of design outputs for several departments, while also being the brand guardian and design champion. From concept creation to art direction for partnerships and licensing, I designed, managed, and oversaw projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Developed the brand's design principles and core style guide.
- Worked alongside publishers to design Roald Dahl's core book covers collection.
- Art directed special edition books, bespoke asset creation for partners, seasonal style guides, theatre key visuals and marketing activities and campaigns.
- Designed consumer products collections and supported the CP team on approvals.
- Ensured brand consistency and guardianship across multiple outputs, through creative brand approvals and external projects oversight.
- Worked closely with external agencies overseeing pitch processes, agency selection and project collaboration on development and approvals.
- Worked closely with the company's directors board on key strategic projects.
