SuperEgo is an artist-run initiative, started in 2017. Its activities are based both on virtual spaces and physical ones. SuperEgo explores a horizontal and open mode to experience and produce art, acting as a self-critical conscience for those who enter in its network, constantly inspired by the reflection and questioning of social standards. Its operations proceed as pop-up interventions, able to settle in specific contexts with flexibility and irony. Julia is a co-funder, organizer and curator for SuperEgo. *Psychoanalysis The part of a person's mind that acts as a self-critical conscience, reflecting social standards learned from parents and teachers.
