I manage the licensing and commercial affairs for The Great British Bake Off, amongst other brands. My job is to ensure that all products, events and related marketing materials that reach the consumer are on-brand, of the highest quality and in line with current food and lifestyle trends.

Commercial affairs for the UK's #1 TV show The Great British Bake Off as well as Bake Off: Creme de la Creme, The Great British Sewing Bee and The Great Pottery Throw Down.
Role includes:
Commercialising the Brand: Finding and engaging with new potential licensees, receiving and assessing new license proposals, assisting business and finance directors in projecting and reporting revenue across all licensees.
Product Development and Approvals: Working with licensees to develop ranges aligned with brand style guides, managing all approvals of licensed product and packaging designs, approving sample quality, managing day to day relationship with licensees, assisting licensees with marketing proposals such as talent appearances.
Live Events:Overseeing brand presence at live events, liaising internally and with licensees re. marketing, logistics and delivery, assisting consumer product licensees in the setup of GBBO merchandise stores.
Marketing the Brand: Creating and adapting brand presentations, attending and representing the brand at trade shows, using photoshop, illustrator and InDesign for commercial design projects as needed.
Protecting the Brand:Finding and assisting legal team in addressing IP infringements, advising contributors and licensees on BBC guidelines, advising 3rd parties on their commercial activities with contributors, copy-editing press releases, newspaper inserts, talent bios, books and recipe booklets as needed.
