About me
Hi there, I’m Júlia Lago a young multi-disciplinary creative and designer. I always knew I wanted to be involved in the fashion industry and, as a passionate environmentalist, my proudest accomplishment is being part of Manon Planche’s team, a fashion brand who aims for sustainable upcycled fashion in London.
I love to transform ideas into materialistic objects such as clothes or art, I enjoy the process that comes within bringing a project to life, that’s the reason I studied Fashion design (BA) and Marketing and communications for fashion brands (MA) in Barcelona. I also attended a course at Balenciaga’s foundation (Getaria, Basque Country) to further develop my moulage techniques.
Since I started university (2016), I’ve been doing multiple internships (Stradivarius, Pardo Harts…) that made me an expert in RTW (woven and knit) and high fashion women’s wear and accessories design. Over the past 2 years my work has been published in many magazines such as Vogue España, Vogue Italia, Kalbut Magazine and many others.
On the weekends you can find me at an art museum or submerged in a novel at a crowded café, my passions include playing the drums and skating with my friends.
