Julia is an actor, stunt woman, and creative consultant originally from the Philippines and France based in London. After studying Film and New Media Production and Political Science at New York University Abu Dhabi and Chinese Cinema and Economics at Yenching Academy of Peking University in Beijing, Julia studied Shaolin kung-fu at a Chinese military school and monastery for 8-hours a day for a year. Since then she's decided to pursue a career in acting and the creative industry at the intersection of all her passions: film, martial arts, and social change. She's committed to expanding the cultural narratives around Asian women, and through her work, she explores themes of race, female sexuality, and violence. She'd love to work with, connect to, and collaborate alongside other creatives and social-impact driven professionals on The Dots feel free to reach out if you have any work/projects/ideas!

It is directed by Christopher Jacobs and stars Julia Saubier, Peter Jeffries, Katt Roberts, Naomi Pfyl, and Daniel Davids. The film was shot in 18 days over summer when COVID rates were at an all time low with an amazing cast, a talented crew and a shoestring budget.
