Julian Rad is a creative and a director who has realized experiences about cloud computing, built immersive environments about AI, unleashed theatrical stories about design, designed emotional journeys about products, made machines to explain search, captured flickering pictures about being human and manifested staged tableaux about whales and imaginary planets. Not necessarily in that order.
Projects
- Google Cloud Next 18I was the lead Creative Director for the main keynote stage for Google Cloud Next 2018. I led the creative for the experience, the environment, the onscreen presentations, developed the brand, creative directed the multi-camera livestream, directed the onstage action and onscreen and social videos. And I choreographed the cubes. I am now an experienced cubeographer.

I had the extraordinary privilege to build and lead a team of Creative Directors, Designers, and a cavalcade of freelancers all charged with concepting, designing, developing and executing experiential campaigns for Google. I had literally one client, but they did keep me busy: Google Next 18, Zeitgeist 18, AI Realized, Google for Education, Trailblazers 18, Accelerate 18, Google Next 19, Google Marketing Live 19, Cloud Summits 19, YouTube GBS 19, Trailblazers 19, and Waze. Also oversaw brand reputation events for the office of the CEO with initiative launches with the USO and in Pryor, Oklahoma.
