Design Role : Experience designing beautiful and intuitive experiences, crafted with input from user insight, analytics, brand and validated through testing. Whole process of creation and production of the collections. Leading a team to research and create mood boards, range planning, designing and sketching, pattern cutting and sampling, technical drawing and creating spec sheets.
Production role: in charge of leading the creation of new standard sets for the brand’s tech packs, to reflect all relevant informations the factories need to meet the brand’s products requirements so as to meet tight deadlines. Dealing with the manufacturers during the whole process of sampling and production, visiting the factories in London and Portugal to explain all our requirements regarding fabrics, washes, patterns etc., negotiating MOQs in relation to our budget and critical paths, reviewing samples and commenting on PPS and SMS pieces, creating purchase orders and chasing deliveries.
Team manager Role: Experience recruiting and managing the team of designers throughout everyone’s day to day tasks. Organising the work flow based on critical paths and deadlines. Leading the team in backstage during our SS18, AW18 and SS19 shows. Managing the team’s jobs during the models castings. Making clear to everyone what are the brand’s standards, reviewing jobs and helping the team improve to meet these.
