- WellFair Vegan ChocolateThis was a University Project set by Brand Opus. The Brief was to create a new range of confectionary for a specific target audience taking into consideration health and contemporary lifestyles. I therefore decided to target Vegans and create a new range of Chocolate. Concept Wellfair is a charitable vegan friendly chocolate bar that uses healthy organic ingredients free from dairy and GMO. WellFair gives 50% of the money made straight to the Cocoa Farmers in order to help prevent Deforestation. The money is used to help educate the farmers on how to rehabilitate land in a pose to destructing land to gain more fertile land. This way, less land is destructed, farmers produce more cocoa and make more money. The welfare of the farmers is restored. I found evidence of an innovative way of producing paper for the packaging using the cocoa itself. The paper is made from the 3.5 million metric tonnes thrown away every year. The 3 flavour are Goji Berry and Coconut, Maca and Mulberry and Chilli and Lemon. The colour scheme was chosen according to the flavours. The app allows you to track your personal efforts in helping to contribute to the decreases in Deforestation allowing you to personally view the journey of donating to the farmers and also to keep updated with news.
