Juraj Kočár is a graphic designer from Bratislava, Slovakia based in Oslo, Norway. He is working with editorial design, typography, visual identities, and from time to time with illustration. While he designs mostly for printed matter he is always open for other forms and media. The goal in his practice is to come up with visual ideas and solutions which would represent the clients thoughts and needs the best. Be it in the fields of culture, art or commerce. - BrokatMy take on Brokat font created by Boafff. In Polish “Brokat” means Glitter. I was invited among other designers to create something with it. The idea was to materialize digital file into the physical object. Like the typecreators back in the days were meticulously shaping small pieces of metal to create the whole alphabets, I cut two glyphs from a small sheet of copper.
