As Lead Retoucher, I am responsible for the support of a small team of retouchers, who work alongside other members of the department. This is to ensure support for all post production imagery across a range of product and lifestyle photography for use on the website, and any marketing & PR material.
- Responsible for the day to day processing of images through the retouching team, and working with the studio manager to organise priority workflow.
- Support and increase in studio productivity, and provide reporting feedback to the studio manager in respect of deadlines & timeframes
- Quality control for all images before & after retouching
- Having an awareness of business priorities & adapting workflow to changing business needs
- Escalating any standards or deadlines at risk to Studio Manager
- Upload, rename & file maintenance of all digital imagery
- Regularly meet daily, weekly & monthly deadlines and compile productivity reports on a weekly basis through a spreadsheet.
- Creation & implementation of the Amara retouching guidelines, and making sure it is kept up to date, and followed
- Support ad-hoc duties as and when required
