Who, me? No no, you must be after someone else....
For a freelancer, networking and self-promoting really aren't my strong points. Brought up with the fine tradition of British modesty before being introduced to the less traditional, but no less popular in certain circles, eagerness to beat up those doing well, bushels have been ordered in bulk to hide ones lights for some time now.
Distract me and I'll regale you with with tails of having my tarot read by a woman who skipped town the next day, about being given yet another musical history lesson by Joe Elliott, or the time I had to pretend to be a valentine while looking more like a corpse having had three hours sleep.
I'm a good writer, and in more private moments I'll admit this to myself, so i'm writing it here and then forgetting about it so others can find out without me knowing.
I'm also a dab hand at page design, and have yet to meet a piece of sparkling copy I couldn't make shine just that bit brighter – but then you don't learn how to shoe-horn a 4-4 draw into three paragraphs without picking up a transferable skill or seven.
I also make a cracking cuppa. Sadly, unless you can pop round here this is of more use to me than you...
