During my time at One Touch Records Music, an independent record label focusing on young rap talent, honing the likes of popular UK drill artist Nito NB, North-London newcomer K1 N15 and a roster of many. I was appointed a senior role of Junior Label Executive.
My job was to:
• Choose which music we record and the direction we go in, dependent on the artist I was working with
• Finding fresh new talent in assistance of A&R’s
• Playing a key role in Marketing strategies and promotional endeavours for upcoming releases and the labels own growth
It was an exciting period and I loved every second of it, I was able to be around the world of music 24/7 and that was the best part of the job.

My first ever experience in the professional music world was with Warner Music Group’s subsidiary Parlophone, specifically working within the camp of UK rap artist Dutchavelli.
My job was to devise media and promotional strategies for upcoming releases such as ‘Burning Ft M-huncho’ ‘Black’ and debut album ‘Dutch From The 5th’
During my short time with Parlophone/2up2down, I got a well versed understanding of the industry and how it all works. I was privileged enough to work with some of the top names in the industry such as radio presenters, artists along with A&R’s and hear their insights on the current level of the UK rap scene.
