About me
A versatile video producer with experience working solo as well as alongside in-house content creation, I have a strong history of telling compelling stories through digital media. I possess a flexible skill set covering end-to-end production and delivery of digital video assets for web and social media.
Through my years as a freelance video producer and working with production companies, I have led end-to-end conception and creation of short films, documentaries, web and social videos for both external clients and within an organisation. During my past six years as a producer and director I have created briefs, pitched a wide variety of content – short and long form – and have been innovative in adapting to the ever-changing needs of digital audiences. My passion lies in creating stories that inspire and excite viewers. I am resourceful and energetic in using video content in new ways to tell fast, clear, entertaining and engaging narratives, covering comedy, drama and factual content.
My film making endeavours have taken me to the Kimberley region in regional Australia to film the award-winning documentary Children Playing (Yaparwarnti Palu Rijikarrijani), which won Best in Indigenous Film Making at St Kilda Film Festival. I also founded and was Co-Artistic Director for the Lucky Film Festival (Sydney) from 2011-13.
