A hard working, creative and energetic events manager looking for new challenges within the food industry as we enter 2021. I have strong experience in sales management, operational management, creative design, social media, event planning, customer service and team leading. I am looking to develop on all of these skills within a more business development led role within an exciting forward thinking food company.

I manage sales & events across all of the incredible venues that we work with in London & outer London. I work as part of the bespoke event sales team so we handle all enquiries and events ranging from bespoke parties, gala dinners, corporate dinners, receptions & conferences. I have been able to apply my creative skills to various parts of the business working on social media projects, promotional internal events and show cases which is something I've always wanted to get involved in.
Since March, things have looked very different at Create and we have seen a lot of changes within the business but we have adapted in whatever way we can. I have managed to continue in my role and am helping to see the company through this difficult year, putting plans in place for when we are out the other side of the situation and producing control procedure documents for clients to see how we can operate safely during this time. It has been challenging to say the least but I have developed many new skills and it has forced me out of my comfort zone, taking charge in other areas of the company.

I started my time at the company in a supportive role as an events assistant but throughout the year I progressed into managing sales across three of the companies contracted catering venues. This involves taking clients from the enquiry stage through to the actual event taking place and managing it on the day. I gained fantastic experience and built good relationships with corporate and commercial clients. It was the perfect stepping stone for me to get a great insight into the world of catering for large numbers and then progress within the industry.
