Greenbird invests in factual/factual entertainment and producers. I work within the central Greenbird team, supporting 10 Independent TV Production Companies in a fast paced and varied role. These include Tuesday’s Child, Gobstopper TV, Crackit Productions, Kalel Productions and Rumpus Media. • Managing Reception – First point of contact for commissioning editors, talent, guests and deliveries. Communicating daily with people across all levels. • Answering telephones/email enquiries • Bookings – Managing meeting rooms for numerous production teams and Managing Dirctors • Working closely with operations team – Juggling the role of runner with running reception and providing constant office support across all companies. • Excellent time management and prioritising – Carrying out tasks like setting up pcs, assisting with IT queries, stationery orders, replenishing supplies and general office upkeep. • Developing and implementing new administrative systems, where necessary. • Daily organisational tasks - logging data in Excel, managing outgoings across all companies - petty cash/recharging • Ad hoc runner duties for specific productions – including location, auditions and shoot days.
• Assisting on production for new Masters of Lego (Channel 4) on location • Assisting contributors of all ages on set, ensuring they had everything they needed to feel comfortable and at ease • Sorting through Lego bricks meticulously, labelling and organising according to colour, size, type • Photo logging of completed Lego models • Working with a team of five runners – teamwork and taking instructions from execs

Chosen from 100s of applicants to take part in this Creative Access paid internship. This was an incredible experience where I got to learn more about the industry within a small, start up indie.
