    As the first Head of Social Media at Sport England, I have been responsible for evolving the organisation’s approach to social media. This has involved writing and leading social media strategies for the corporate B2B channels in addition to B2C campaigns, resulting in a 13.6% increase in average engagement rate for Sport England’s, a 228% increase in the average engagement rate for This Girl Can and increases in post link clicks across the board. Responsibilities include: • Social media lead for Sport England’s behaviour change campaigns, This Girl Can, Join the Movement and We Are Undefeatable, in addition to Sport England’s corporate accounts • Building and line managing a dedicated social media team and mentoring of external campaign partner social exec • Sport England lead for all social media aspects of campaign partnership activity with brands such as Disney, Parkrun and Heart Radio among others. • Defining and owning the social media strategy across paid and organic social, and influencer/publisher partnerships to increase engagement and support behaviour change objectives • Creating and implementing best practice guidelines to upskill internal team and external partners • Briefing and management of external agencies for social media campaign content (creative, media and design) • Collaborate cross-functionally with PR, partnership, activations and website teams to deliver creative and impactful social media plans supporting key priorities
