My name is Karen Hayashi. I was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1999. I moved to London when I was eighteen to study at University.
I studied in a Media, Communication and Cultural studies department at Goldsmiths, University of London, where I earned a first-class honour. My specialisation in the course was photography. It was here that I further expanded my knowledge of culture and media studies and my skills in photography.
My first experience as an artist was when I bought a camera for the first time and played with digital images on a computer. My interest and passion for visual art have limitlessly grown since then, and I currently focus on collage art and photo manipulation.
I have decided to pursue a career in this field to explore my creative process further and develop my skills.
I am interested in creating graphic design for various forms, such as products, cover art, visual merchandising, and animation. Also, I want to integrate my knowledge of luxury brands and marketing that I obtained whilst working on my dissertation.
