  • my review of Beabadoobee's This is How Tomorrow Moves
my review of Beabadoobee's This is How Tomorrow MovesI’m excited to announce that I reviewed Beabadoobee’s Third Album This Is How Tomorrow Moves for the The Gryphon - University of Leeds’s student newspaper! It was a pleasure exploring this sonic journey of bittersweet womanhood, aimless “adulting”, and romantic accountability. Her team have so kindly said it is expertly written! Give my thoughts a read: https://www.thegryphon.co.uk/2024/08/08/this-is-how-tomorrow-moves-beabadoobee-album-review/
  • my first event !
my first event !On 11th June, I hosted an event influenced by early 2000's drum & bass and liquid funk. Inspired by Q-Project's 'Renaissance Man', this Medieval-themed event featured local talent playing an array of sub-genres from the 170-sphere. The event took 2-3 months to curate. This included venue research, talent scouting, and marketing. All creative decisions, from making the artwork and event coordination, were managed by yours truly!

Assigned Assistant Producer role for my Final Year project - this developed an understanding of how production, inclusivity, and the philosophy of art can interact in venue and collaboration research in mind of diversity. As a result, fostered a critical awareness of how the aesthetic and cognitive value of art can have transformative power which simultaneously pushes SAA-UK ethos. This solidified sentiment to performance/arts industry.
