Graduate of BAPJD in 2019 where I exhibited my final major project " Pueblo Paisa" highlighting the ongoing gentrification of Seven Sisters. Home to the second largest concentration of Latin American business in the UK, over 50% of the traders are female, independent and have been trading for over 35 years. Now as a result of covid-19 the market has been closed for over 9 months and rising debts and legal fees mean the future of the market is unclear. However, the community continues to unite in solidarity to protect an integral part of experiencing Latin American Identity in an vastly changing urban landscape.
