About me
The profile was created as a Part 1 Architectural Portfolio.
Its purpose is to show my overall architactural skills, give an idea of my artistic perspectives, and to reflect my commitment to achieve full potential.
Projects
- Stage 2 - Forms and StructureA study of the Passenger Terminal Complex of Suvarnabhumi Airport completed during the second year of my degree. Focused on understanding how structural components shape architectural form, how they function under gravitational and lateral loads, and how they create a cohesive structural oneness, the study allowed me to deepen my understanding of the relationship between structure and architecture.
- Stage 2 - Landscape and DesignA gardening and cooking school with a restaurant and newly proposed landscape, focused on revitalisation of a dying coal waste land of Betteshanger Country Park. With human conditions as the leading driver of this design, the project aims to bring atmosphere that positively affects people's comfort levels and emotions through diversified micro develoments of the landscape juxtapositioned in a harmonious manner.
- Stage 3 Concept DesignA proposal for the Kent School of Landscape Architecture set to contrast and enhance the rugged and purely pragmatic architecture of the Historic Dockyard Chatham. Designed along my final undergraduate design project, the proposal reflects the nautical heritage of the Dockyard, while bringing a contemporary solution that responded to the current needs of the site's occupants.
- Stage 1 - Modern HouseA study of the Villa Schrainer designed by Sverre Fehn, undertaken in the first year of my undergraduate degree. It was completed as part of a tripartite module set to teach model-making, academic writing and digital rendering. It allowed me to learn AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop, and helped me master the use of a scalpel coupled with a metal ruler.
