A four year thick-sandwich course in product design with emphasis on design process and design for manufacture. High importance is paid to human-centred design, understanding the human needs, motivations and managing projects accordingly. The course covers all the basics in graphic design, CAD, electronics and programming providing a firm foundation for future development and encouraging motivation for self-learning. Multiple of on-going projects at a time teach to manage time efficiently and prioritise. External projects from various companies challenge students and prepare for real-life briefs before going onto the industrial placement.
