Studying Geography presents the opportunity to gain a lateral understanding of people, places & culture.
This includes analysis of society with a spatial lens;
interrogating the relationships between culture, the environment, economics, politics and gender.
My final dissertation project used academic theories from anthropology, geopolitics, gender politics with a foundation of the geographical theory of space and place.
The project formed a progressive and inclusive analysis of the modern modified women; understanding the everyday experience women in landscapes of the self and spaces in society.
