Primarily responsible for quality checking imagery/ digital assets, to ensure a high degree of compliance with the merchandising standards. Other duties include providing support to the wider Online Operations team by writing product copy, maintaining product attributes, and launching products for the website.
Placement work with the Communications and Brand Experience department at John Lewis Head Office, assisting the creative team with the design and installation of the 2017 Christmas Press Show, as well as other commercial projects, including ‘The Residence.’
Based in the Oxford Street branch, working primarily within the Home department. My duties include: - Creating innovative displays throughout the department, enabling John Lewis to stand out from its competitors - with a focus on brand awareness, seasonality, competitors activities and commercial viability to ensure all sales opportunities are maximised. - Printing tickets and POS, including creating and installing vinyl signage. - Inspiring partners to be passionate about achieving presentation and ticketing standards throughout the store. - Liaising with selling floor teams and department managers, working together to achieve the highest standards. - Collating research on current/ emerging home and fashion trends. - Implementing seasonal marketing campaigns throughout the store. - Planning and installing local initiatives in ‘Wow’ and ‘Edit’ areas. - Providing exceptional customer service.
Duties included: • Dealing confidently and efficiently with incoming and outgoing entry queries. • Providing a high level of customer service to entrants. • Assisting the telesales team to make outbound calls to companies and individuals who may potentially enter the D&AD Awards. • Identifying and resolving problems with entries, contacting the entrant where necessary. • Completing the detailed cataloguing and packaging and checking process in preparing the work in time for judging. • Supporting judging sessions. • Assisting jury managers during Judging week. • Helping resolve on-site problems and queries during the festival/ judging week.
