Responsible for heading the marketing department; creating and implementing the marketing strategy for both short-term quick-wins and long-term sustained growth, whilst line managing, mentoring and developing a team of two marketing executives. • Working with the founders to clearly define their key business objectives, and in turn I defined and agreed the departmental marketing objectives with them. • Quickly built and began executing the marketing strategy based on solid marketing principles and experience applied to a niche and complex market. • Created a detailed campaign brief for the company’s first major digital marketing campaign, engaging all key stakeholders on the project, managing all key components to success, including the promotional mechanic, the advert creatives, all CRM comms, technical embeds (i.e. pixels & UTM tags), website landing page, infotorial video, weekly reporting. • Managed relationship with the media-buying agency, keeping a close eye on spend versus ROI across all channels (socials, display, YouTube) throughout the company’s first major digital campaign. Interpreted data to continually adapt/optimise spend on a results-driven basis of attaining high-quality leads. • Pursued alternative supporting tactics to bolster the paid social/display campaign, such as paid for advertising space on appropriate industry-relevant websites, ensuring all links were tagged and measurable (offering much improved CPA). • Sourced, negotiated and onboarded high-quality PR agency specialising in the field, and led the relationship with them to draw up a sustainable growth plan for 2022 which delivered on the key marketing objectives. This included methods to raise awareness of and attract key target audience members to artscapy.com through a blend of digital and IRL events and tactics. • Grew the social media following on Instagram +380% (from 364 to 1,384) over a 6-month period, focusing on high-quality acquisitions based on curated content as well as establishing relationships and plans with art influencers/ambassadors to drive further high-quality organic growth. • Led and project managed the company’s first major partnership with a B2C Fine Art Fair (The London Art Fair), including internal and external stakeholder management, development of creative ideas and implementation strategy, both for digital and IRL execution.
