I am a forward-thinking Beauty Promotion Graduate with a range of experience specialising in the beauty industry. Designing relevant marketing campaigns and strategies for repositioning, product launches and social media are examples of projects I have undertaken within my degree, as well as working freelance. I have benefitted from various work placements within ecommerce, marketing and journalism environments, all of which have strengthened my skillset as a graduate. I wish to seek a role within a commercial environment that will benefit from my creative marketing skills.

In August 2019, I completed two-weeks work experience at Ebloggers, an online fashion company with a mission to slow down fast fashion by selling second-hand clothing from celebrities & bloggers. During the two weeks I learnt how to list beauty & fashion products live to Ebloggers website using E-commerce platform 'Shopify'. Additional responsibilities included product photography and creating promotional social media content.

Alongside various university assignments, I accepted a commission to produce a marketing plan for home & body fragrance brand Lilou et Loïc in preparation for their expansion into the UAE. My role consisted of compiling market research (UK & UAE) with competitor analysis, to formulate a marketing strategy with the aim of integrating the brand into the UAE fragrance market.

Taught by industry professionals, I learnt an array of skills including, marketing, advertising, multi-platform journalism, trend forecasting and styling. The course developed my creative skills required for these projects, such as fashion & beauty styling, photography and the use of Adobe photoshop. For my final major project (FMP) I utilised these skills to reposition established brand Vaseline into the cosmetic market, in order to drive brand growth and address current K-beauty/minimalistic beauty trends. The result, branded mockups of four cream-based lip & face products characterised by bold yet simplistic designs. A PR & marketing strategy including advertising imagery completed the project.
