My role of teaching English at a secondary school involved engaging students in order to improve their linguistic ability and raise cultural awareness. I created a variety of educational resources to give students the chance to practise their speaking skills. Working as part of a team of Italian teachers, I encouraged students to be more ambitious and to communicate their opinions on a diverse range of subjects. Doing so, I enhanced skills such as communication, presentation, time management, teamwork, and problem-solving.

I delivered online one-to-one tuition on a weekly basis to support a French
GCSE student in preparation for her exam. By creating a bespoke structure for online lessons, I followed course content and clearly explained grammar structures, using fun activities and real life conversations to cement my student's understanding. Whilst effectively demonstrating enthusiasm and expertise in my subject, I developed excellent one-to-one communication combined with the ability to relate to my student. Working remotely, I managed my time well to accept bookings and accommodate any rescheduling alongside other commitments.
