About me
Hello! I'm Katharine. As a professional writer and editor, I specialize in producing a wide array of content, from articles and blog posts to social media copy and website content tailored for cultural organizations, businesses, and entrepreneurs. My expertise lies in thorough research and data analysis, SEO-optimized writing and editing, academic composition, digital journalism, and strategic copywriting for social media. Here’s a brief overview of my career journey: From October 2018 to June 2021, I was part of Gallery magazine as a Journalist before advancing to Senior Editor. Gallery is an English-language publication dedicated to fine arts in Lebanon. In June 2021, I embraced a new challenge at OBCIDO Inc., a leading Digital Marketing and PR agency, where I served as Communications Director. This role enhanced my leadership abilities and further developed my writing, marketing, and communications skills. By May 2022, I had ventured into entrepreneurship and established myself as a freelance Content Writer, Editor, and Communications Specialist. I now enjoy working with an international clientele from the United States, Europe, and the MENA region, offering services that include writing and editing books, business proposals, social media copy, website content, technical reports, and more. I hold a BA in Art History from the American University of Beirut and am currently pursuing an MA in Global Media and Digital Communications at SOAS, University of London (September 2024).
