Since my full-time FTC role at Mavens, I have continued to work with them on smaller projects here and there. From doing basic SEO work and social media data analysis, to creating and managing data spreadsheets and writing, editing and uploading content via different CMS.
As PR & Outreach Executive/Commissioning Editor at Mavens, I saw myself delving into several roles at once: - Building and maintaining relationships with bloggers/influencers from English-speaking countries worldwide. - Creating relevant content for blogs, meanwhile helping boost clients' online presence. - Briefing and commissioning freelance writers. - Editing commissioned articles prior to sending to bloggers for publishing. - Creation of web articles for top priority Mavens' clients. - Online research for prospective partners. - Running SEO audits.
Being a career girl myself, I found it fitting to be an intern at CGD. Here's what I got up to... - Weekly editorial meeting pitching a minimum of 25 article ideas. - Researching, writing and editing 3 posts a day. - Optimising posts in terms of SEO. - Taking part in photo-shoots and vlogging/video-making for the CGD YouTube channel.
As a lifestyle contributor at The Orbital - Royal Holloway's student magazine - I saw my words come alive in-print and on-screen as I wrote from a student perspective on things such as fashion, beauty and personal health.
