About me
My results orientated nature within the marketing sector means I have a proven track record of providing exemplary work ethic to projects. As a recent graduate from Bournemouth University, with a predicated 2:1 honours degree in the CIM accredited course of Advertising, I have undertaken a placements within internationally acclaimed and award winning organisations such as TOMY and 3 Sided Cube. These placements have enabled me to develop not only specific marketing industry experience, but also a valuable and transferable skill-set in this innovative sector. I am looking to secure a position in a marketing organisation, where I can bring immediate and strategic value and develop current skillset further.
Projects
  • Graphic Design
Graphic DesignA small selection of the work I produced during my year of study at the Arts University Bournemouth, within group projects at Bournemouth University and within my own time.
  • Website Design and Content
Website Design and ContentThe Entertainer advised that we update the Pokemon branded webpage to their latest webpage template. Therefore, I carried out he following actions to ensure this project was carried out successfully. > Liaised with the Pokemon toys marketing communications manager to understand the direction of the creative brief > Discussion with the U.S design team to clarify the creative brief and state design deadlines > Communication with the Pokemon company for the approval of the content designed for the webpage > Once the assets were approved this was sent to the internal account manager of The Entertainer
  • Product Launches
Product LaunchesInspired by the classic Pop Up Pirate game, TOMY added Pop Up Olaf in Spring to their family game portfolio. I assisted with the following B2B and B2C marketing communications activities to raise awareness of the launch: > 30 second TV advertisement > Creation and implementation of publications to the trade > Content creation for TOMY UK owned media > Creation and implementation of social media competition for European markets
  • Office Makeover
Office MakeoverI managed the design and implementation of the office banners for the TOMY UK and TOMY Europe offices. The following tasks were developed over a two month timeline: > Worked alongside the EMEA marketing communications manager to gather insight and aid my project direction > Organised a meeting with the marketing director to understand total budget > Discussion with the design team to explain the direction of the creative brief > Liaised with an external manufacturing company to organise the logistics of the banners > Meeting with the European teams to present the artwork and amend where relevant
  • TOMY EU Website Refresh
TOMY EU Website RefreshTOMY Europe revised the website pages and introduced the U.S website software to strengthen their online presence. I coordinated the launch of five European websites - Russia, France, Germany and Netherlands (French and Dutch versions) - and took on more responsibilities due to the lack of human resource. The following tasks were carried out by myself over the period of two months: > Weekly discussions with the U.S team project manager and design team > Asset collection and categorisation for the brand portfolio using a software management system > Ongoing conversation with the European teams to keep the design aligned with their vision
  • Trade Adverts
Trade AdvertsTo communicate the new Autumn/Winter range for Pokemon and new product lines for Lamaze to the trade advertisements needed were created and implemented in a timely fashion. This was an ongoing project with my manager and each advertisement required me to take following steps: > Creation of the creative brief > Organisation of meetings with my manager, brand manager (external and internal) and the design team to discuss each brief > Communication with the publishers to understand deadlines and provide content
