• Organising and managing events independently (conferences, courses, meeting and exhibitions) from start through to finish.
• Lead conference organiser for the company’s biggest event to date – the ‘European Microscopy Congress 2020,’ an international event being hosted in Copenhagen with expected attendee numbers of 4,000.
• Created the bid document for the RMS to host an International Congress in 2023 in Leeds. The RMS/England was narrowed down to one of the last four countries bidding. Attended the bidding presentation in Prague.
• Managing the companies social media platforms. Created the companies Instagram which grew to over 2,000 followers within the first year. Since taking over the social media in June 2018, have also increased the main RMS twitter account by 2,000 followers, the LinkedIn account by 900, and the Facebook account by 200 to date.
• Completed QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (expires December 2021) and Fire Warden Training (issued May 2018).
