About me
I have six years of event management experience at a Private Equity firm, Hamilton Lane. After four years coordinating the firm’s European event programme I was promoted to the Relationship Management team, working with clients to provide investment analysis. Throughout this time I continued to be responsible for the managing the flagship event, the Market Overview, and most recently coordinated the 2017 internal company offsite conference in Philadelphia. Due to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live in New York for my partner’s job, I left Hamilton Lane in June. Along with travelling around the East Coast, I am volunteering for ECPAT-USA, the USA’s leading anti-child trafficking charity. I was asked to sit on the committee to organise the 2017 Freedom Awards and Fundraising Gala, honouring leaders in the fight against child trafficking. The event takes place in November at a subsidiary of the United Nations in New York. I am currently based in New York and will be returning permanently to London in early December.

2017 Freedom AwardsThis November, ECPAT-USA, the country’s leading anti-child trafficking organization, will host its first ever Freedom Awards celebration to honor leaders in the fight to end child trafficking and exploitation. The event will bring together a highly selective group of 200 luminaries in the corporate, philanthropic, government, and media communities in support of ECPAT-USA’s vital work to ensure no child is bought or sold. In what will be the highlight of the evening, ECPAT-USA will grant awards to the world’s most remarkable individuals for their contributions in ending child trafficking. https://www.ecpatusa.org/freedom-awards/
