Experienced design and production assistant based in London, who has most recently worked creatively for a successful British apparel brand and is now actively looking to take on a new exciting role in design. Design • Created key trend and competitor shop reports in order to produce strong research, mood and colour boards that complemented and evolved the current collection. • Designed an array of products across menswear, womenswear, luggage and accessories and worked with a range of fabrics from leather, denim to abrasion & water resistant materials. • Created the brand’s first casual wear product and witnessed growth in the accessories range. • Realised growth in the brand’s luggage range and designed two technical waterproof rucksacks for the markets’ daily commuter and long haul traveller. • Created comprehensive CADS and production technical packs and specification sheets across all ranges, which clearly communicated techniques, BOMs and measurements. • Sourced materials for new and existing products for both in-house and supplier production and attended trade shows such as Premiere Vision Paris and Tex-fusion. • Designed and built bespoke product displays and presentation walls for the brand’s annual show stands at large events such as MCN, Motorcycle Live [2015, 2016 and 2017]. • Designed and created original image content and CADs for show stand, POS marketing, social media, newsletter emails and press features. Production • Directed material development through compiled data reports, composition and wash care info and approved and managed lab/dips and shipping samples for SMS and bulk sign off. • Managed and updated the critical path to ensure all material and manufacturer quality, standards, deadlines and terms were met, i.e. CMT, FOB or Ex Works. Additional • Directed model castings and bookings for annual brand photo-shoots, (lifestyle & e-commerce). • Created effective ‘Collection Range plans’, to present to existing stockists and new buyers. • Trained Sales team on new products, highlighting key design and selling points. • Built up the brand’s Instagram page and succeeded to increase activity and following from a few hundred followers to thousands, (without paid for advertisement).
• Managed the fashion desk with sample requests and shipping for pre- and post-shoot production; Compiled credits and liaised with PR departments & created trend research for ‘wish list’ feature. • Prepared model and talent for each segment/shot and assisted the stylist and photographer accordingly to amend, re-style or resolve wardrobe issues.
• Oversaw wardrobe for supporting artists and prepared principle looks pre- and post-filming. • Managed costume & accessory buying for characters and wardrobe equipment as required.

As a student I undertook live sponsored projects, developed strong trend reports and market research and fundamentally created a mature, well executed graduate collection and portfolio that was showcased at the degree show and key pieces selected for industry catwalk trade shows.
