About me
I am a Graphic Designer and ex- professional ballet dancer. I have strong interests in the theatre and the vernacular. I enjoy incorporating humour into the work when possible. According to the Design Laboratory, they claim I have balls.

  • Foreign Affairs
Foreign AffairsForeign Affairs is a satirical business service that makes a comment on the government’s handling of the EU negotiations and policies towards immigration, by dramatising real-life events and promoting marriage as the only solution to opening up its borders. Foreign Affairs acts as a ‘glossing over cracks’ solution to Brexit.
  • Champagne Rituals
Champagne RitualsThe task was to propose new rituals when consuming and serving champagne for the brands, Moët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot. Ideas ranged from serving champagne with crisps, merging low and high culture, to creating a murder mystery experience in a box, which drew on the history of Veuve Clicquot.
  • The Four Temperaments
The Four TemperamentsA book and four screen prints, based on an analysis of the ballet ‘The four temperaments’ and its relation to the four humours in medieval philosophy - where an excess in certain bodily fluids, black bile, blood, phlegm and yellow bile, dictate personality traits. I drew from existing diagrams of the temperaments to inform the overall aesthetic of the project. Each illustration of the humours, is a mapping of the dancer’s movement in relation to time and space.
  • Now and Then
Now and ThenA magazine consisting of ads from the 80s and present. My aim was to demonstrate how little the ads have changed over time, presenting them as close to their original state.
  • Handbook of British Politics
Handbook of British Politics This book came about as a comment on the ‘trained’ gesticular language of politicians. To verbalise the politician’s hand movements, I applied British Sign Language to the British Politician. My intention was to imitate existing textbooks on politics, alongside an introduction of academic standards, to play on the humorous tone of the book.
