About me

I am a highly skilled PR and communications professional, with over 20 years experience at the highest level within the sports industry.   It all started when… I joined Manchester City FC when they were at their Maine Road Stadium straight from university, and soon moved down to London to join Arsenal FC where I stayed for 18 years. During my time at the club, I oversaw the club’s media relations with both players’ contractual and project interview work domestically and internationally. I also worked on the club’s corporate plan helping launch commercial partnerships and engage stakeholders and local media both in the UK and when building the club’s profile in Asia and America. I am a passionate communicator, and enjoy telling a brand’s story and bringing it to life with editorial content and spokespeople placed in strategic media work.  I have excellent media contacts here in the UK and overseas, both with consumer and trade media and can help you tell your story and gain valuable coverage and awareness.  Across the years I have gained excellent experience in managing crisis communications, with both the coordination and execution of plans. I am adept at writing short and long form content, ranging from social media copy, press releases and editorial copy for internal communications.
