My experience at the Arts University Bournemouth has allowed me to learn many vital aspects of the photographic industry as well as the commercial and marketing world. Skills and tasks I completed within my degree include regularly creating briefs and pitches, actively working within a studio environment as both a photographer and an assistant, professional paperwork including invoicing, cost analysis', as well as model, property and license agreement forms. Creating client-specific advertisements and fashion editorials, retouching and editing both still and moving media, and collaborating with other professionals including fellow photographers, make-up artists, models, stylists, art directors and set designers. Thoroughly researching the fashion industry and trends for new creative editorial content and ideas, as well as political and social ideas to keep content current and engaging. Throughout my time at university I have become proficient using the Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One, studio lighting and planning and organisation of photographic shoots with large collaborative teams.
