- Securing impactful publicity across print and broadcast media for a variety of non-fiction titles, specialising in self-development, spirituality, parenting, memoir, health and wellbeing publishing.
- Writing press and trade releases, working with editorial on jacket and title decisions, organising speaker engagements and bookshop events as well as a recent networking event for the Vermilion imprint to showcase our parenting authors.
- Providing excellent author care and developing a relationship with authors on a campaign, communicating campaign plans and discussing feature ideas.
- Presenting feedback in new projects and acquisitions meetings on the publicity potential of proposals. Presenting research and considered observations on the non-fiction market and media trends relevant to the Rider, Vermilion and Happy Place Books imprints.
- Developing relationships and contacts across the media including scheduling and conducting pitch meetings with journalists, producers, podcasters and events teams.
- Campaigns executed at Ebury Publishers include those for: Sunday Times Bestseller, Wintering by Katherine May, Saturday Times Bestseller This is Vegan Propaganda by Ed Winters and Sunday Times Bestseller The Wim Hof Method by Wim Hof.
- Updating the communications team database of events, media, and announcements and consolidating and presenting this in a weekly email across Ebury.
