About me
A creative final year Fashion Design student, currently studying at Northumbria University and specialising in menswear pattern cutting. Throughout my studies I have developed strong technical drawing skills as well as a good understanding of flat pattern cutting and garment construction. Previous projects have given me the ability to confidently articulate my ideas through research, mood boards and experimental designs, I am now eager to continue expanding my knowledge and embark on a career in fashion

Whilst at university I completed a twelve month placement at British lifestyle brand Barbour, supporting the Mens Outerwear team in all aspects of the design process. Carrying out trend research, creating mood and fabric boards, producing detailed technical garment drawings and organising range overviews for launch presentations, were all key aspects of my role. My time at Barbour has improved my problem solving and time management skills, working effectively with colleagues to stick to timelines ensuring all deadlines are met.
