    • Led my team in creating innovative creative campaigns • Always thinking of new and innovative creative ways of showing off the brand identity. For example, Gandys is a lifestyle brand focused around exploring the world and getting outdoors, normally highlighted through its imagery. During COVID-19 it wasn’t possible to travel so I came up with the concepts of bringing the outdoors, indoors. This lead to designing a campaign around editing wanderlust backgrounds onto model shot wearing product, creating a realistic illusion of travel that supported our product stories. • Implementing creative strategies across the business • Managing and signing off all creative projects • Driving the Creative and Marketing of the Gandys brand. • Creative direction on all digital content • Creative direction on lifestyle and studio photoshoots • Setting web photography and imagery standards across the website • Implementing and managing branding throughout ecommerce, stand-alone stores and wholesale, to increase customer traffic and sales revenue. Including: Typography / Colour palettes / Imagery • Creating & designing seasonal campaigns to be published across all online platforms. • Working with cross-functional teams; partnering closing with design to ensure product sell through is maximised through correct product marketing, storytelling and promotion. • Ensuring the promotional calendar deadlines are met, to guarantee the required content and imagery for seasonal holidays and brand specific holidays; Earth day for example. • Managing the creative team in all marketing aspects from creating well-executed campaigns to influencer collaborations; one of which lead to world renowned Jessie J promoting the Gandys bali backpack to her 9.1 Million following on Instagram. • Designing seasonal brochures to be sent out to the Gandys customer base. • Weekly reporting on how each creative piece is driving sales and revenue.

    As an individual who has had two years professional social media experience, I understand what it takes to not only stand out against other companies/brand, but to bring unique and engaging content to differing audiences. In my current job, engaging content the connects both travel, fashion and the companies USP is essential in connecting to audiences, and this is something that I have to achieve on a daily basis. I am fluent in key social media platforms, with an emphasis on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube. I have begun to discover TikTok so would be excited to unlock more knowledge of this platform. My exceptional written communication and design skills allows me to design visual content that is engaging to the eye, along with copy that inspires the audience to make a change in the world, or to speak to others about it. I also manage the content schedule, using Facebook Creator Studio to schedule content across social media platforms. I also have knowledge of Hootsuite. Having to write four blog posts per week, I have the task of discovering new content consistently to be published online and on the social media channels. My aim is to educate the audience about something new and exciting, whether it’s a unique place to visit in a specific country, to content pieces around the brand story. I am passionate about providing the reader something that they have never heard of before, as sometimes blog posts can become repetitive within the travel sector. I have attached to this letter the URL link to the company blog page where you can see examples of my recent work. As well as creating written content, I am also highly trained on Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. From these skills a design the visuals for the blog posts, Instagram stories and design new image layouts for the social media feed. For example, I decided that the Instagram feed needed a refresh to engage audiences again, simply by changing the size of the image and what background this was presented on. Visually giving the Instagram grid more of an ‘artistic’ feel to it, this has now reengaged audiences into the social media. In addition, I work with social media analytic tools such as Facebook Business Manager and Google Analytics to track activity on the social media channels and how many visitors come to the blog page. The ability to analyse data lets me understand what the customer wants and what they are interested in, allowing me to change specific content to fit the needs of different audiences.
