About me
I have been lucky enough to gain a range of exciting and nurturing experiences within the music and creative industries. I love and feel that I excel in roles that enable me to feel a strong level of responsibility, implement ideas, be hands on and build relationships with a fun and dedicated team. I love being busy and taking on a range of tasks from administrative and organisational to creative, communicative and innovational.
My position as Music and Member Events Coordinator at The Arts Club allowed me to delve into the music industry, and I thoroughly enjoyed the responsibilities delegated. Such as, communicating with artists and their management and getting to know them, helping with artist programming and meeting / building relationships with artists during live events. I gained experience at the music publishing and management company ‘Unified Songs’, where I worked part-time within the A&R dance department, pitching and contacting appropriate DJ’s for toplines. I then enjoyed temping at ‘Kilimanjaro Live’ event promoters and organisers (concerts, gigs, festivals), assisting the marketing and promotions teams. Since then, my position as intern at Cr2 records helping all areas of the company from Label Management, Digital, A&R to Catalogue Publishing was hugely insightful, and communicating with industry professionals from artists to artist managers was particularly interesting and I enjoyed building on my skills and experiences, and my exposure to dance, house and electronic music.
My current role as talent manager at DNA talent management has enabled me to delve further into the areas I enjoy; working closely with and managing talent, connecting with artists, brands and other agencies and creating business within the industry (brand activations/deals), managing influencers, content creators and some artists/DJ producers. I’m seeking a position at a music agency / management working within artist relations or alongside an agent, that enables me to build relationships with artists/producers/songwriters as well as industry professionals, venues, labels and a passionate team in which I hope to work alongside, and to be busy with a range of interesting duties and responsibilities. This would be hugely exciting, and very beneficial to progressing my career.
