- academic studies such as popular music debates (debate topics include a range of popular controversial news topics such as ‘can you separate art from the artist’), music and society - establishing the important role of societal context within music, music business and marketing for songwriters
- Professional final year project - we had to plan an execute a creative project to support our next keep into professional life. I chose to write and Release a 5 song EP with a gig at the end. I had to plan my strategy for releasing my music, liaise with venues, session musicians and other artists who were invited to perform. I had to budget money, grow interest in the event through ticket sales, advertising and word of mouth.
