A motivated, adaptable and responsible photography graduate seeking a position into the creative industry. Throughout my school career, I successfully combined my studies with work and other commitments showing myself to be self-motivated, organised and capable of working under pressure. I have a clear, logical mind with a pragmatic approach to problem solving and a motivation to see things through to completion. I enjoy working on my own initiative or within a team. In short; I am reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and eager to put my knowledge and skills to a good use, as well as willing to push my creative thinking outside the box and accept new challenges. Always happy to travel to get the job done.Locked Pro Plan feature
After graduation, I joined Gallery Six (a free studio space for first year graduates in the heart of The Old Truman Brewery, East London in exchange for industry briefs). It was my last month at the studio and a few of us from Gallery Six came up with the idea of creating a magazine that focuses on the current climate of creative graduates. Exposing them to industry professionals and agencies in hopes that they can kickstart their creative career without doing unpaid work or low paid internships. Bricoleur Mag successful launched in mid June during Free Range week (The biggest art and design graduate exhibition in the UK). My role in magazine is project management, making sure deadlines are met, organising the team, and constantly networking with potential clients for ongoing projects, interviews, features for the next issue of Bricoleur.
Gallery Six is a collaborative workspace for recent creative graduates at The Old Truman Brewery. It is a hub for engagement, a space for members to collaborate, work on in-house professional projects & develop personal portfolios over a three month residency.
In April a few of us from Gallery Six; (a free studio space for first year graduates in the heart of The Old Truman Brewery, East London in exchange for industry briefs.) Was given the opportunity to run 5 days at Free Range (The biggest art and design graduate exhibition in the UK). In them 5 days we hosted talks, workshops and portfolio crits - collaborating with leading professionals in the industry. We organised this in two months, and honestly it was a great turn out and amazing response from students and graduates. My roles for Free Range was organising the team, contacting clients, meeting deadlines and making sure everything was running smoothly.
