I'm currently working as an Editor at Headline Publishing Group, Hachette UK. I specifically work on non-fiction books where I have to come up with innovative ideas, and take them to prospective authors, alongside publishing submissions I receive. I am seeking freelance editorial work and I have plenty of experience in copyediting, content creation and proofreading.

• Working as editorial and communications support, and as a personal assistant, to three Senior Group Publisher’s at Hachette Children’s Group.
• Providing effective diary management and administrative support in the day-to-day and managing complex book fair diaries for our team and our most prominent author, Cressida Cowell.
• Working as Editorial Assistant for the trade non-fiction imprint, Wren & Rook, on upcoming titles.
• Practised in writing ATI’s, back cover copy and cover briefs.
• Trained in administrative editorial tasks such as updating Biblio, proofreading and doing research.
• Running and assisting at company events such as the Author/Illustrator Christmas party.
• First point of contact for all external contacts including agents, talent and authors.
• Working with the Audio Manager to produce excellent audio books, also providing support by creating audio samples and checking audio before publication.
