About me
My work ethic revolves around my sensibility in spaces. I love to get under the skin of a space and interrogate it— by looking with a heightened instinct for moments others may not see. My practice is rooted in an intimate connection with what’s in front of, and around me — a consideration of juxtaposing materials and colour.
I believe in experiences and story telling— to me, these are key to creativity. I’m likely to fall head over heals for anything that puts a smile on someones face.
The subject of my dissertation discussed, amongst other things, reclaiming and recycling plastic waste found on land and in our oceans. Finding new purposes for waste is an area I’m particularly interested in.
I appreciate humble qualities and I consider myself a food enthusiast, (bread isn’t bread without butter!). Sometimes, I whip up a taste bud treat, a favourite being a raw banoffee slab. A co-worker described it as euphoric!
Either working in teams or independently, I enjoy the feeling of working up a sweat— then I know an idea’s cooking! I am a good time keeper, hard working, and conscientious with an eye for detail. I turn my attention to anything that might challenge me and I relish any opportunity to learn a new skill.

A materials design and manufacturing house making beautifully hand-crafted panels from waste materials.
As an advocate for Smile Plastics, I provided front line support to visitors at the Smile Plastics showroom and via email. I curated product photography for the website & online Social Media platforms, and helped to convert part of the showroom into a retail space.
I was also responsible for organising images and other files into our online archive, to be shared on Google Drive and Mac systems.
I also photographed and filmed Smile Plastics materials and products in situ on clients' premises, including Selfridges, Heals and KU Bar Soho.
